Public Relations

Public Relations provides media and corporate event services to the University to assist in enhancing its reputation.

Media Relations

The Media Relations team write and issue media releases that promote Curtin’s achievements, advise academic staff on liaising with the media and media issues, facilitate expert comment, handle enquiries from journalists and facilitate media training for Curtin staff. They appreciate advice of potential media stories and advance notice of issues that may affect the University’s reputation.

Corporate Events and Protocol

The Corporate Events and Protocol team manage a range of key corporate, faculty and alumni events, ranging from investitures of new Chancellors and Vice-Chancellors and the opening of new institutes and facilities, to public lectures and book launches. If you require assistance with an event, the team appreciates at least three months notice.
